Ukulele Orchestra

Suitable for graduates of Level 2 and beyond..... or ukulele players who can read ukulele music in standard notation -- and want to develop their ability further in that area.  Students should also have some facility with the basic chords of C Major, F Major, G major, Am,  Dm, and G7.

In this group, we will work on 2-4-part arrangements of music from various genres.   Some will play melody, others harmony parts, while still others will strum and sing.

The goal is to have fun and play together in ensemble, as well as improve our ability to read music notation for ukulele and increase our chord vocabulary.  We also are working towards community performances in retirement homes.

Students are expected to have their own ukulele.
