Ukulele with Zoe

Zoe is a versatile musician and full-time professional music teacher with 15 years experience teaching ukulele to all ages.  In addition to being a certified teacher with JHUI (the James Hill Ukulele Initiative-Teacher Training). she is a classical pianist, singer/songwriter, freelance arranger, and award-winning composer.

Her own story with the ukulele began 25 years ago when, performing as a piano-based singer-songwriter in Toronto, she wanted a smaller (more portable!) instrument she could take to venues that didn't have a house keyboard or piano. Enter the ukulele! She fell in love with this wonderful instrument and has never looked back.

As a teacher, Zoe likes to explore the full capabilities of the ukulele; including using it as a melody instrument for solo playing, as well as the usual sing-and-strum-approach.
