Diana has worked as an educational assistant with elementary school children for 35 years. She has Level 1 through 3 First Aid training, and also ran the drama club at Gabriola Elementary School for many years, having worked extensively in all aspects of theatre.

Diana also serves in her community as a volunteer and board member of various organizations.

She lives with her husband, Frank, on Gabriola Island, where they have raised three children and lost the war with the dandelions in the yard.
